How to find Gurian Instruments
Directions to Gurian Instruments from I-5:
– Take exit 169 (NE 45th St. / NE 50th St.)
– Head west on NE 45th St.
– Follow the arterial; after about a mile 45th St. becomes 46th St. and bears to the right.
Stay in the right lane – follow signs for “through traffic”
– You’ll come down a big hill into Ballard and 46th becomes N Market St.
– Follow Market St. all the way through town; about two miles
– You’ll pass a Taco Time on your right – SLOW DOWN! You’re almost there.
– Market becomes NW 54th St. at this point; you’ll see the Lockspot Café on your left – turn left into the parking lot for Hiram Chittenden Locks.
– Go over the train tracks and turn left into the Jacobsen Terminals parking lot. Find a spot in this lot and be sure to pay for your parking.
At the end of the parking lot is a silver gate, walk through the gate & take your first right and go all the way down to the very end of the dock & turn left.
The barge will be at the end of the dock straight ahead, out in the water – it’s beige w/green trim, and there is a large ‘H’ on the door.
